Users of it may have noticed that the final syllable of certain words ending in -e is wrongly marked long; but most are probably unaware of the extent of this error. The following list gives all words which the present writer has discovered with this incorrect ē (bis after an adverb indicates an entry under the adverb and under the adjective connected with it).
