Zusammenfassung:It appears that the British government is showing genuine enthusiasm for the task of completing the ESDP under the UK Presidency in the first half of 1998. There is however the possibility that the newly created Department of Environment, Transport and the Regions will give priority to domestic, British topics such as regional devolution or that it will not appreciate the fact that the ESDP is the product of all of Europe's planning cultures.
