Zusammenfassung: | The procedures used by school districts to institute faculty integration in Kentucky have taken several forms. One procedure exhibited in Central Kentucky involved the use of Negro teachers as librarians; in the Louisville area, on the other hand, Negroes were utilized as bona fide classroom teachers. These differences in instituting integration suggest that strategies of change may be seen in terms of a theoretical model embodying three approaches: (1) the social system, (2) the personality system, and (3) a combination of both personality and social systems. |
