Zusammenfassung:Drs. Shils and Zucker differentiate between the independent autonomous and the corporate entrepreneur. Using the similarities and differences between these two types of entrepreneurs, they conclude that our current methods of decentralization and dividing the whole into parts are not sufficient to inspire the entrepreneurial process within the large firm. Instead, the authors propose a corporate design into small modules, which must be augmented by developing corporate policies that stimulate entrepreneurial growth and enterprise on the part of subsidiaries.
