Zusammenfassung: | The article has as its central premise that law librarians have an obligation to publish. "Obligation" will be distinguished from "requirement" in that the requirement element infers that publishing is mandatory, whereas "obligation" suggests it to be a professional duty. The first part of the article illustrates that a very small portion of the AALL membership actually contributes to the "LLJ". Thereafter a challenge is issued to law librarians to make contributions to the professional literature. Suggestions will be made as to how this professional obligation can be satisfied |
