Zusammenfassung:This study, one of a series of investigations to determine the minimum visual skills essential to perform satisfactorily the various types of work done in the production of precision instruments, indicates a significant relationship between the visual skills and proficiency in assembly work. The pattern of visual skills which best distinguishes between successful and least satisfactory assemblers is acceptable by clinical standards and is practical as a standard for the selection and placement of assemblers.
