Zusammenfassung:Three experiments tested for the effect of familiar size on judgments of off-size objects (chairs) under natural viewing conditions. In the main experiment, independent groups judged large and small chairs at two distances under two instruction conditions. Regressions of judgments toward familiar size were found only at the far distance, and there was no effect of instructions.
