Zusammenfassung: | Compares the assessment and treatment of leg ulcers seen in the community and subsequently reviewed in an outpatient clinic, to the New Zealand Guidelines, using three measures : a clinical description of the ulcer, the use of an Ankle Brachial Index (ABI) test, and the use of compression therapy for mixed and venous ulcers. Assesses the continuity of treatment by looking at the number of nurses that were seen by each patient and the number of types of dressings used for each ulcer.
