Aneurysm of the Left Anterior Descending Coronary Artery

Videos show the artery before and after the repair. A 74-year-old woman with a history of hypertension, hypercholesterolemia, and non–Q-wave myocardial infarction presented with exertional angina that had worsened over the course of the preceding month. Coronary angiography revealed triple-vessel coronary artery disease and a large saccular aneurysm of the proximal left anterior descending coronary artery (Panel A). There was severe stenosis in the artery immediately proximal to the aneurysm and stenosis in the middle portion of the artery.
