ChemInform Abstract: A Facile IL-DMSO-Assisted Synthesis of 5-, 6-, and 7-Membered Benzoanellated Cyclic Guanidines

The synthesis of biologically interesting title compounds with different ring size is best achieved by a reaction of appropriate diamines with BrCN in a mixture of DMSO and an ionic liquid.
