ChemInform Abstract: Replacing Conventional Carbon Nucleophiles with Electrophiles: Nickel-Catalyzed Reductive Alkylation of Aryl Bromides and Chlorides

Under optimized conditions, a variety of aryl/heteroaryl bromides, aryl chlorides, and vinyl bromides is reductively coupled with alkyl bromides to give alkylated arenes.
