ChemInform Abstract: Synthesis of 1,2-Bisalkylidenecyclopentanes from 1,6-Allenynes via Stereoselective Addition of Nucleophiles to Ruthenacyclopentenes

A new type of reaction of ruthenacyclopentenes derived from 1,6‐allenynes (I) and (III) toward nucleophiles, such as alcohols (IV) and (VI), is presented.
