ChemInform Abstract: Electrostatic Immobilization of an Olefin Metathesis Pre-Catalyst on Iron Oxide Magnetic Particles

The quaternary ammonium Hoveyda—Grubbs olefin metathesis pre‐catalyst affecting the ring closing metathesis of diethyl diallylmalonate (I) is readily accessed in one step from second generation Grubbs catalyst and immobilized onto magnetically separable nanosized iron oxide particles.
