ChemInform Abstract: A Single-Step, Mild, Neutral, Catalyst-Free Method for Cyanohydrin Synthesis

A wide variety of carbonyl compounds can be transformed to their corresponding cyanohydrins in a single step and without any catalyst using DMSO/water as reaction medium.
