ChemInform Abstract: Preparation and Structural Properties of Nonlinear Optical Borates K2(1-x)Rb2xAl2B2O7, 0 < x < 0.75

The title compounds (x = 0.25, 0.5, 0.75, 0.9) are prepared by solid state reaction of Al(NO3)3, H3BO3, K2CO3, and Rb2CO3 (various heat treatments between 400 and 850 °C for 7--48 h). [PUBLICATION ABSTRACT]
