ChemInform Abstract: Iron(II) Chloride Catalyzed Alkylation of Propargyl Ethers: Direct Functionalization of an sp3 C-H Bond Adjacent to Oxygen

In a search for optimized conditions concerning the title process, it is observed that substrates (I) alone are converted to ynones (IV) and (V) in the presence of FeCl3.
