Zusammenfassung:The duration of geological processes, in particular magmatism, is currently subjected to extensive investigations. These studies are aimed at revealing of the age of crystallization of individual magmatic bodies or the periods of the formation of large igneous prov inces, such as flood basalts or areas of granitoid mag matism [48]. Among the latter, of special interest is the granitoid province of West Transbaikalia, including the giant AngarVitim batholith (AVB) with an area of 150 000 km2 composed of calc alkaline auto and allochthonous biotite granite of the Barguzin Complex.
