The purpose of this study was to further investigate the relationship between perceived role quality (of the mother, partner, work and homemaker role), work family conflict (WFC) and maternal depression. We assume that role quality moderates the relation between WFC and depressive symptoms in working mothers.
Method
Data for the cross-sectional study were obtained from mothers (

= 148) with children up to 10 years of age. In order to analyze the relationship between role quality, WFC and depressive symptoms in mothers, we conducted moderated regression analyses.
