Including comorbidity in the assessment of trauma patients: a revision of the trauma injury severity score

Using the GENMOD procedure in SAS software, first, we identified a subset of patients over 54 years of age with blunt abdominal trauma, created a new variable, Probdeath=1- TRISS and compared Probdeath to the actual death rate.
