Hallelujah!: "The Place of Historic Music in the Contemporary Church" and "Performing Bach: One or Many?" - Interest Sessions for the March 2001 San Antonio ACDA Convention

Provides information on two interest sessions to be held at the March 2001 San Antonio National Convention. Informs that church musicians in particular will find the sessions to be of interest. States that in the first session, scholar Robin Leaver will present historic choral music literature, such as works by Bach and Buxtehude, and will illustrate and lecture on how such works can be used as a worship experience, and not only as a performance experience. Continues that the second session will include the use of a demonstration church choir and college orchestra, and will highlight the integration of theory and practice in worship.
