Zusammenfassung: | Amid the seemingly endless debates over the relationship of the Synoptic Gospels to the Coptic Gospel of Thomas (CGT), some scholars have focused their attention in recent years on the notably Lucan tone of some of the logia in CGT. Here, Meier indicates why people have to deal with Luke 12:16-21 in a careful step-by-step process. After an initial comparison of the texts of the introductory anecdote and the parable in both Luke and Thomas, he first take up the anecdote/apophthegm. He moves on to a consideration of the parable proper after arriving at a preliminary decision about the relationship between Luke and Thomas in this anecdote. |
