Zusammenfassung:The Kivakka layered olivinitenoritegabbronorite intrusion of the Olanga group in northern Karelia [1] appeared to be very convenient for the investigation of the behavior of chemical elements and modeling of the dynamics of solidification. Its rather good exposure and present day mode of occurence allowed us to describe in detail the internal structure of the intrusion and per form comprehensive sampling from the lower to upper contact. The evaluation of the obtained data showed unambiguously that all the main features of the distri bution of mineral assemblages and chemical elements (admittedly, except for rhythmic layering) are in perfect agreement with the character of element behavior dur ing crystallization differentiation; in this respect, the intrusion can be regarded as a reference object.
