Zusammenfassung: | This study explored the relationships between racial identity and acculturation with racial experiences and racism-related stress in university and community-based samples of 302 Asian Americans. Participants reported experiencing racism and related stress in all domains measured. Results of hierarchical regressions indicated that racial identity attitudes contributed more to the variance in racism and related stress experienced over one's lifetime than that accounted for by acculturation. Implications for the findings are discussed. |
