Zusammenfassung:In this study, it is aimed to examine the relationships between locus of control (LOC) and organizational citizenship behavior( OCB), the study was carried out on the student group of 252 persons from a faculty and four vocational school affiliated to Balikesir University. RLCS whose Turkish adaptation was made by Dag (1991) and developed by Rotter (1966) was used as locus of control in the study. The scale used with regard to OCB was developed by the researcher. Independent t-test, correlation coefficient and regression analysis were used for the analysis of data. OCB revealed by the students at the end of the study have become different significantly in terms of gender and school type. The relationships toward low-negative direction were found between LOC and OCB. It was concluded within the study that LOC is not a predictor of OCB.
