Zusammenfassung: | This chapter draws on the experience of the Cape Town Urbal team's work on the "Nourish to Flourish" food security strategy of the Western Cape Provincial Government. The project team used the Urbal approach to engage the stakeholders who had played a role in the development of this innovate transversal and inclusive strategy. During this process and in the Urbal workshop used to ground truth and discuss the team's findings, it became clear that the report and the methodology employed as part of the Urbal were providing opportunities for different actors to use the findings and approach to embed the strategy and its governance approach in broader policy and governance decisions. This chapter presents a discussion of the utility of the Urbal approach as an analytical tool in and of itself, and also focuses on the way in which the outputs and outcomes of the methodology have been used by research participants to give the work an after-life. |
