Business Model Shift toward Flexibility

This chapter aims to present the main determinants and analyze the characteristics of flexible business models. It shows the specifics of business models and explains the paths to becoming a flexible enterprise. There is also an observation about the coexistence of flexibility and digitization as an organizational property. The research used the method of secondary data analysis focused on developing a unified set of factors determining the flexibility of business models. Reflections on flexibility were presented on the basis of sports organizations. The study results in presentation of the characteristics of flexible business models. Flexibility is proven to be a way to thrive in turbulent markets.
