Zusammenfassung:Parallel to the fundamental research and the first experiments with active rheology control (ARC), also a numerical framework was developed to allow further exploration and fundamental investigations on the significance of ARC. To do so, this chapter depicts the numerical simulation of ARC applied to the context of conducted pumping experiments. Firstly, a constitutive rheological model describing ARC behaviour is elucidated in the context of and based on theoretical aspects of magnetic structuration or clustering, enabled by magneto-rheology as active responsive component for ARC. Secondly, the developed numerical computational fluid dynamics methodology is outlined. Thirdly, the numerical framework and applied ARC model are validated based on pumping experiments. Then, future perspectives and outlooks for ARC modelling are depicted. Lastly, numerical simulation of ARC is summarized.
