Zusammenfassung: | To enable active rheology control (ARC), activating units need to be designed for the intended process application in order to control that process application. That is why this chapter portrays how ARC was applied to pumping of a magneto-rheological cementitious suspension. Therefore, the first section briefly outlines the main theoretical concepts of pipe flow during pumping. The second section depicts the used experimental pumping circuit with special monitoring equipment and a specially designed active control unit. The third section elaborates upon the experimental pumping results of an actively controlled magneto-rheological paste suspension. Lastly, the chapter is briefly summarized and future perspectives are highlighted. |
