Zusammenfassung: | Latex foam rubber is defined as a cellular rubber made directly from liquid latex in which all the cells are intercommunicating and have a vulcanised cellular structure. The smooth surface of the foam rubber which is formed by contact with the surface of the mould is called the skin and the foam rubber is mainly used as a cushioning material and in household applications. It is also used in automobiles and railways as a cushioning material. The advantages of latex foam rubber compared to other foam materials are better. The foam rubber is soft to touch, resilient and got damping and fatigue resistance. The easiness of moulding into a variety of shapes, sizes and hardness makes it more industrialised and economic. |
