Zusammenfassung:Chapter 13 provides MathCAD computer worksheets that are developed for stress analysis simulations of the topics covered in chapters 1-12. This chapter is a comprehensive collection of simulation codes that can be used for fast and reliable stress analysis of both metallic and composite sections. This chapter discusses the comprehensive collection of simulation codes that can be used for fast and reliable stress analysis of both metallic and composite sections. The section properties such as area, moment of inertia and first moment of area can easily be calculated using MathCAD. The following codes are written in MathCAD as sample section property calculations for some of the common structural cross-sections. The following MathCAD worksheet was designed to illustrate Hooke's law, showing the stress and strain conversations. The following MathCAD worksheet was designed to perform strain transformations from the measured strain inputs to the strains in the x, y and shear strain directions. The following MathCAD worksheet was developed to determine the deflection of a rectangular plate with simply supported edge boundary condition.
