Zusammenfassung: | This chapter examines education as an object of scientific research. As an object of scientific research, education is just beginning to be studied through the activities that make it operational. Education, as an object of scientific research, manifests itself as a complex and non-static phenomenon due to its multidimensional dynamics of symbolic interaction. When studying multidimensional phenomena in the complexity of educational contexts, researchers have two options: they simplify their approaches to explore only some aspects of educational phenomena or address these to their full extent and complexity. Educational researchers have to conduct their studies with students who are influenced by the environment of their schools. This is known as contextual research. Education in the twenty-first century seeks an inclusive world in a global culture of economic competitiveness. In the twenty-first century, education is a much broader concept than what happens in educational institutions. |
