Zusammenfassung:Porous polymeric membranes offer significant opportunities or chances for environmental and energy applications, along with unique pore applications organized with chemical and chemical varieties. Porous polymeric membrane shows unique application in biomedical, fuel cell, separation, sensing applications etc., due to its flexibility, scalability, versatile surface properties, biocompatibility and biodegradability. This chapter outlines the various applications of porous polymeric membranes. Porous polymeric membranes offer significant opportunities or chances for environmental and energy applications, along with unique pore applications organized with chemical and chemical varieties. Porous polymeric membrane shows unique application in biomedical, fuel cell, separation, sensing applications etc., due to its flexibility, scalability, versatile surface properties, biocompatibility and biodegradability. This chapter outlines the various applications of porous polymeric membranes. The porous polymers include polymers with intrinsic microporosity, covalent organic frameworks, polyacetylenes, covalent triazines framework, hyper-crosslinked polymers, porous aromatic framework, conjugated microporous polymers. Porous polymers can be used in separation processes and also in gas storage processes. Geometry of porous polymers are usually tubular, spherical of in form of network that are mostly in form of order and in irregular format.
