Zusammenfassung: | Exactly one hundred years after Mozumdar arrived in Seattle, Washington aboard the Empress of China, I was a seventh grader in Roslyn Middle School in a social studies class with a teacher curiously named Mr. Best (to this day, I’m not sure if this was his real name or assumed name, and have left it unchanged). Instead, we had to write papers after every lesson discussing whether we agreed with the actions of a figure of American history.
