Statistical Methods and Applications: A Comprehensive Reference for the Healthcare Industry

Epidemic outbreaks (like swine flu, cholera etc.) have always been a major issue on shoulder of researchers and scientists in the field of HealthCare thus before deriving conclusions, results & predictions, data analysis or Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) becomes exigent but currently available methods, i.e. both Graphical methods (like histogram, heat map, scatter plots, boxplots etc.) & Non-Graphical methods (like central tendency, skewness etc.) may identify outliers but are not connoisseurs in handling them. This study aims to clearly identify & handle outliers using Clustering and Concept Hierarchy by considering symptoms to identify and geographical factors to handle outliers. This approach can be applied to other areas of the domain by considering different set of attributes.
