Zusammenfassung:This chapter describes who the stakeholders are in academic library internationalization. It reasons that before libraries can accommodate stakeholders, they must first understand them. It groups them into one of two categories - domestic or international - with subcategorizations described as transformational or transactional. It is recommended that stakeholders be understood according to more general terms of library usage than based on demographics or nationality. Four potential stakeholder groups are considered: students, faculty, administrators, and community members. Four major themes from the literature were identified: culture, communication, plagiarism, and technology. These themes are also used to help describe who the stakeholders are within academic library internationalization.
