Zusammenfassung: | This chapter considers curricular possibilities through not only the lenses of content and pedagogy but across the full spectrum of what teachers and schools plan and do to achieve their aims for children. It begins, however, by considering where we want our curriculum journeys to take us and look at the aims we have in mind for primary education which represent the destinations we are striving towards. The Cambridge Primary Review's approach is only one possibility for thinking about aims for primary education, of course, and there are many others that we could consider—and there are differing lenses we could use in focusing on the question of aims. The chapter shares three principles as starting points: the importance of questioning, the use of creative strategies to develop professional discourse and the potential of using theoretical lenses. |
