Zusammenfassung: | In Chapter 6, "Report writing and follow up," we detail how to construct and present key findings and outcomes especially to decision makers, program administrators, and policy makers. We provide specific instruction on writing clear and concrete recommendations for a variety of audiences, developing a dissemination plan for findings, and creating a follow-up plan for addressing further needs. We discuss the potential challenges and solutions related to community-driven research that may arise during the analytical and dissemination phases.
This chapter describes how Rapid Ethnographic Assessment (REA) team members develop and communicate results and findings to a variety of recipients such as program administrators and managers, community leaders and members, key decision makers, funders, and policy makers. As part of planning for the REA, the team needs to determine the audience(s) for the REA and the types of products that will be needed to communicate the REA team's findings. The chapter provides specific instruction on writing clear and concrete recommendations for a variety of audiences, developing a dissemination plan for findings, and creating a follow-up plan for addressing further needs. At a minimum, the REA team will likely be responsible for producing a written report that describes the project and its findings, along with any recommendations that stem from the findings. The team writing the report should assume that it will be shared widely with program managers, policy makers, and stakeholders. |
