Zusammenfassung:To understand how classroom routines enable teachers to communicate shared values and behaviours to drive a positive classroom culture and minimise disruption during a lesson. To know that when a teacher takes a class for the first time how to draw up suitable classroom rules to set expectations. To develop strategies for the beginning of a year, and know the importance of setting a set routine at the start and end of lessons, including how this can be achieved in a number of classroom situations. To be able to plan for a variety of in-class transitions and look at ways of stopping a class and getting pupils' attention to give instruction, move from one task to another and/or to refocus on the teacher or work.
