Zusammenfassung: | In 2012, Confederation of British Industry (CBI) research in the UK identified seven key employability skills sought by graduate employers: self-management, teamworking, business and customer awareness, problem-solving, communication and literacy, application of numeracy and application of information technology; these were in addition to a positive attitude and enterprising mindset.² Law as a discipline is both academic and practical. The effect of this combination is that a law degree has currency,³ due to the sought-after and transferrable skills, such as those identified by the CBI.
