Zusammenfassung: | Electromagnetic compatibility is the capability of electronic and electrical equipment and systems to operate as designed in the forecasted electromagnetic (EM) environment. EMC has two implications: electromagnetic interference (EMI) and electromagnetic susceptibility (EMS). There are some transient high‐energy impulse disturbances in the operation environment that are harmful for electrical devices. Generally, this kind of disturbance is called transient disturbance. Common transient disturbance is divided into three groups, various electrical fast transient/burst (EFT/B), various surge, and various electrostatic discharge (ESD). The voltage and current consist of two modes when they are transmitted through conductors, namely, the common mode and the differential mode. The essence of the radiated emission test is to test the radiation generated by two equivalent antennas in the product. The surge test is a low‐frequency EMC test, which is determined from the microseconds' rising time of the surge test voltage/current waveform. |
