Public signs in the parking lot at the ‘Īao State Park on the island of Maui warn tourists not to leave their valuables in their rental cars and risk having them stolen as they venture into the park. One such sign, however, was defaced by adding “LOCALS WILL,” boldly stating just who will remove their valuables.
