Zusammenfassung:Blockchain Technology plays a major role in today's environment and has numerous numbers of applications. Researchers are interested in applying Blockchain together with IOT, Data Science, Machine Learning and Deep Learning in healthcare sector, Agriculture, Industry applications, Education, Finance, Banking and many other sectors. The main purpose of adapting Blockchain or distributed ledger technology in research is that it provides higher security compared to other features such as flexibility and speed factor. It works based on the concept of decentralization and hence it eliminates the possibility of failure. It is desirable to use any of the four types of blockchain such as public blockchains, private blockchains, permissionless blockchains and permissioned blockchains according to the need. Another important property of blockchain is that it is immutable in which the records or transactions are not changeable. In blockchain technology, the transaction is transmitted over a peer-to-peer network whenever a new transaction arises. It validates the transaction for further processing as it is simple. This chapter discusses various applications of Blockchain technology in which how Internet of Things, Data Science and other sectors are interconnected to solve various real-time problems. The study initially concentrated on blockchain fundamentals, types, and design for IoT applications. Secondly, we discuss about energy efficiency, security, privacy, throughput, latency, block size, bandwidth, usability, multi-chain management, patch management, forks, independence, and discipline which are considered to be obstacles and issues associated with IoT applications. In conclusion, Blockchain's forth coming scope for the Internet of things are investigated. In accordance with the literature-based findings, Blockchain can be used to provide security and privacy solutions for IoT-related applications. In many fields, including health, finance, education, economics, and many others, the contemporary period is experiencing a significant technological change. The emergence of the Internet of Things is the primary cause of this transformation. The world has started to rely on far too many of these tactics that assist individuals in meeting their needs in the smallest amount of time and effort.
