Zusammenfassung: | In order to become a data‐driven healthcare organization, one has to address the cultural impact of the rapid change. This chapter highlights what it will take an organization to make that shift to data‐driven healthcare, as this is not a quick‐fix effort. It will take months, perhaps even years, before one's organization can claim success. However, this chapter presents three things that an organization can do, from training, to marketing, to more traditional departments like information technology and informatics, to make sure everyone, from the executive assistants to the CEO, is data driven. Therefore, becoming a successful data‐driven healthcare organization (DDHO) requires balancing people, process, culture, and technology. In order to get successful, any data‐drive organization must make organizational structure changes to encourage data sharing and management, train business users to become more savvy data consumers, and readjust data governance rules. |
