Research into principal environmental influences and mental health

The previous chapter outlined and commented on the model of principal environmental influences (PEIs) and mental health proposed by Warr (1986, 1987, 1993). This chapter looks in detail at research undertaken at Manchester using this model, and the associated model proposed by Jahoda (1982).
