Zusammenfassung:This chapter examines how racism on social media is being managed by various authorities. It discusses criticisms that organisations such as Twitter and Facebook should be more proactive and effective in addressing racism on their platforms. It then analyses how the police are responding to the problem, arguing that resources need to be better co-ordinated and allocated. Finally, it looks at the potential impacts of new guidelines which could mean fewer prosecutions for social media related offences.
