Zusammenfassung: | This book began by proposing to end the common practice
of using predicting and forecasting as synonyms. I argued that
treating them as different words to describe a single prognostic process robs us of the power to envision better outcomespotentially compromising our futures. However, this book will
not accomplish its ultimate goal if it does not take you beyond
“talking about the weather” (i.e., the future) of your own
dynamic system. This final chapter therefore explains how to
translate your new knowledge about forecasting the future
into actually doing something about it. |
