Use of Copper (II) Ion-Selective Electrode and Gran's Plots in the Sequential Complexometric Determination of Copper (II), Zinc (II) and Iron (III)
A sequential chelometric determination of copper (II) and iron (III) is reported utilizing copper (II) ion-selective electrode (Cu-ISE) for detecting end points and Gran's plots for extending sensitivity to the level of 0.4 umole in 100 mL for each metal. A modified procedure is also suggested...

Zusammenfassung: | A sequential chelometric determination of copper (II) and iron (III) is reported utilizing copper (II) ion-selective electrode (Cu-ISE) for detecting end points and Gran's plots for extending sensitivity to the level of 0.4 umole in 100 mL for each metal. A modified procedure is also suggested and described for samples in which interfering divalent ions, such as zinc (II), are present. Practical applications are reported. |
