Zusammenfassung:The tribe Pseudoboini consists of 10 xenodontine genera characterized by possession of bicapitate, bilobed hemipenes with centrifugal forked sulci and proximal spines. The tribe has a southern distribution, centered in Brazil, and ranges northward into Mexico and southward into Argentina. The close relationships of the included genera are indicated not only by similar (and unique) hemipenial morphology, but also by similar geographic relations. Recent immunological studies corroborate the morphological data in those genera that have been investigated.
