Zusammenfassung:An application of bivariate interpolation of the function z=f(x, y) with the z defined at irregularly distributed points in the x - y plane is described and compared to several classical interpolation schemes. Practical antenna applications in which bivariate interpolation has been utilized deal with reflector thermal distortion analysis, shaped-beam antenna pattern/gain evaluation, and antenna range parallax correction of experimental data.
