Zusammenfassung:An inverse relationship between the level of glutamine synthetase (GS) II and adenylylation (En̄) of GS I was observed in different mutants of Rhizobium meliloti 03. The En̄ of GS I was significantly lower in aerobic conditions than in aerobic conditions. The mutants of R. japonicum D211 expressed higher En of GS I with lower nitrogenase activity.
